Hi Everyone! Mum informed me that Gizmo is going to see the doctor on Friday. He is not eating or drinking and he sleeps all day. His mouth hurts really bad. Mum sat on the floor last night and hand fed my lil pal for over an hour and then she helped him drink a little. I just watched and stayed in the background, cuz mum seemed kinda sad. After she was done, I made her laugh by throwing my red elephant toy all over the place and acting silly rolling on the floor and growling....She just smiled and smiled. She said the doctor said he has Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his mouth and it has spread. Mum told me about a saying or prayer she has at her work, that she reads everyday and she changed some of the wording, but thought it would be a good post today for alot of us. Here it is:
Saint Theresa's Prayer:
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presense settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing (bark), dance (frolic), praise, and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
